Shop Alert has delivered the most up to date version of its security management system for UK shopping centres.
The upgraded Shop Alert 2020 sees the system equipped with an enhanced suite of apps said to offer improved security and major incident management, along with operational, marketing and communication benefits.
Shop Alert’s latest Firearms & Weapons Attack Response App was specifically developed to meet concerns highlighted in NaCTSO guidelines issued following the terrorist attack on the shopping centre in Nairobi.
“It forms a key part of our mission to assist centres to become Stay Safe environments,” said David Lalor, UK sales director of Alert Innovation, of which Shop Alert is a member.
Other apps in the Shop Alert 20 20 package are bomb warning, disabled refuge, guard tour, muster point, evacuate, security management, retail occupancy and in-centre email.
Mr Lalor, who has over 30 years’ experience in the security and safety industry, said: “Today, Shop Alert is widely recognised as a generic term within the UK shopping centre sector and we are confident that the latest version represents the most complete and up to date security management system on the market.
“It offers major advantages over most cellular smartphone-based communication systems and we are receiving interest from centres nationwide.”
The new suite of apps can be viewed in more detail here with on-site demos also available.
